1. Scope of Services
Brooklyn Health & Wellness provides a hybrid care model:
- In-Person Therapies: Physical detoxification, massage, and natural rejuvenation therapies conducted at our Brooklyn, NY sanctuary.
- Virtual Telehealth: Remote functional nutrition coaching, somatic stress management sessions, and diagnostic lab review consultations conducted online.
All services are designed to support systemic wellness and do not constitute emergency medical care.
2. Appointments, Scheduling, and Cancellations
- Cancellation Window: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of both in-person and virtual appointments.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in the full session cost being charged.
3. Telehealth vs. In-Person Care Disclosures
- Virtual Consultations: Telehealth sessions require a stable internet connection, a private room, and a video-enabled device. Clients are responsible for ensuring their setup is functional.
- In-Person Policies: Clients visiting our physical sanctuary are requested to arrive 10 minutes early. Please disclose any acute skin conditions, open wounds, or recent surgeries prior to receiving physical therapies.
